Student exhibit opens at Saxonburg gallery
SAXONBURG — The Saxonburg Area Artists Cooperative presents the third annual invitational high school senior art exhibit opening Saturday at the SAAC gallery at 215 W. Main St., rear.
An opening reception is planned for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The exhibit continues through June 2.
Students participating include Karen Veltman and Devon Alberts from Deer Lakes, Cassie Gervais and Sarah Tady from Highlands, Victor Carlesi from Kittanning, Christopher Pujol and Kylee Danko from Valley, and Natalie Hetu, Kasey Kurpakus and Patty Schuler from St. Joseph.
A $500 scholarship will be granted to one of the senior art students intending to pursue a post-high school education in art.
Regular gallery hours are 1 to 9 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays.
