4:55 p.m. Sunday — Lindsay Hendrix, 41, of Butler was arrested after he allegedly assaulted his wife, Tracey Hendrix, during a domestic dispute at their home in the 300 block of Clark Avenue.Lindsay Hendrix is accused of grabbing his wife and pinning her to a wall. She said the defendant would not let her leave the house and struck her in the face.Lindsay Hendrix is charged with simple assault and harassment. He is free on $2,000 bail.7:59 p.m. Saturday — Police arrested a repeat shoplifter after he allegedly stole $70 in merchandise from the Walmart in Butler Commons.The suspect, Wayne Wack, 52, of Connoquenessing, is accused of taking a knife, money clip and compact disc player. Wack is charged with felony retail theft because he has two prior shoplifting arrests.Wack, who also is charged with a misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property, is free on $2,000 unsecured bail.3:54 p.m. Saturday — Vehicles driven by Richard Jamison Jr., 28, and Rusty Lutz, 28, both of Butler, collided on Old Plank Road near McQuistion Road. Jamsion's car hit a utility pole following the collision.2:55 a.m. Saturday — Richard Wallace, 39, was arrested in connection with a domestic dispute at his home in the 300 block of Evans City Road.Wallace is accused of assaulting his son, Corey Wallace, and his girlfriend's son, Brandon Russell. Both alleged victims suffered minor injuries.He is charged with two counts each of simple assault and harassment as well as disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He is free on $1,000 bail.Officers also cited Richard Wallace's girlfriend, Tammy Elder, 43, of Butler for disorderly conduct after she “refused officers' commands.”

Monday — Police filed a pair of felony charges against Wesley R. Osley, 21, of Butler stemming from a Nov. 12 drug deal in the 300 block of Virginia Avenue in Butler.Osley is accused of selling crack cocaine to a police informant for $50.

Monday — A thief stole two wallets, one that reportedly contained about $700, from a car in the visitor's parking lot at University Village Apartments on Keister Road in Slippery Rock Township. The theft happened between 11 a.m. Sunday and 6 p.m. Monday.7 p.m. Saturday — Douglas E. Kennedy, 43, of Harrisville was arrested after allegedly attacking his 64-year-old mother during a domestic dispute at his home on Eau Claire Road in Mercer Township.Kennedy is accused of throwing Lucinda Kennedy to the ground, choking her and kicking her several times.The woman needed hospital treatment for a variety of injuries including a broken humerus bone and numerous body bruises.Douglas Kennedy was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment. Following arraignment, he was placed in the Butler County Prison on $15,000 bail.
