Sunday — An unknown thief stole a blue Mountain Fury bicycle from a home in the 300 block of Brown Avenue. The bike, which has a torn seat, is valued at $150. The owner said the bike was taken from his yard between 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Sunday.State Police, Butler9:33 p.m. Sunday — Sandra K. Karch, 51, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Bonniebrook Road near Herman Road in Summit Township.12:28 a.m. Sunday — Kayla R. Mitchell, 21, of Zelienople was arrested for suspicion of DUI after her car struck a pickup truck and a tree at Route 38 and Eldorado Road in Washington Township. Mitchell, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. Michelle L. Sahagan, 20, of Butler was driving the pickup.Sunday — Someone damaged mailboxes at two homes in the 800 block of Old Route 422 in Franklin Township. They were damaged Saturday or Sunday.8:05 p.m. Friday — William W. Harris II, 24, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Bennett Drive in Franklin Township.Police arrested Harris while responding to a call for a domestic dispute at a Bennett Drive home. Harris and 19-year-old Carissa R. Kelsea of Butler got into a fight.During that altercation, 18-year-old Brittany J. Kelsea of Butler allegedly punched Harris in the face three times.Harris and Carissa Kelsea, in connection with the domestic dispute, both face charges of simple assault and harassment. Brittany Kelsea faces a charge of harassment.4:10 p.m. Friday — A tractor-trailer got stuck after crashing on Route 68 at Dusty Lane in Oakland Township. A police report did not identify the driver.Friday — A thief stole a Chicora man's drilling tools on Fir Road in Fairview Township. The tools were taken between March 17 and Friday.7:30 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Albert V. Young, 56, of Johnstown, Cambria County, crashed into a utility pole on Route 268 just south of Route 58 in Hovey Township, Armstrong County. Young was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
Sunday — An unknown suspect driving a vehicle damaged the yards of two homes in Pine Township. The driver spun the tires in the grass at a home in the 300 block of Tieline Road before fleeing and traveling onto the front yard at a home in the 200 block of Pinchalong Road. Damage in the vandalism that occurred between 11 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday was estimated at $400.5:35 p.m. Saturday — Erin L. Stoops, 31, of Grove City was hurt when the car she was driving crashed into a house at Route 208 and Gregg Street in Pine Township. Stoops, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to the Grove City Medical Center with moderate injuries.The crash happened when Stoops' car struck several large rock and street signs on Route 208. The car then crossed Gregg Street and hit the house. Stoops was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.9:17 a.m. Saturday — Two teenagers were hurt in a two-vehicle crash in Springfield Township. The crash happened when a car driven by a 16-year-old Mercer girl collided with a pickup truck driven by Daniel S. Deems, 40, of Volant at Route 208 and the Interstate 79 off-ramp.A 17-year-old Grove City girl, who police did not identify, riding in the car and 18-year-old Katelynn Deems of Volant, a passenger in the pickup, suffered minor injuries. Both teens were wearing seat belts.Police said the driver of the car, who they did not identify, was cited for not stopping at a red light.Friday — Someone between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 5 p.m. Friday stole a metal, adjustable basketball stand and hoop from a home on Route 258 in Springfield Township. The stolen property is valued at $350.5:05 p.m. Thursday — A van driven by Gerald W. Grossman, 75, of Grove City struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle on George Junior Road just south of Ball Park Drive in Pine Township. The crash forced the SUV driven by Linda Armstrong, 57, of Harmony into the back of pickup truck driven by Teri Whitney, 52, of Harrisville.
