Mildred Irene Trufley

Mildred Irene Trufley of Slippery Rock celebrated her 80th birthday with a surprise family and friends dinner March 24 at Natili’s Restaurant.

The former Mildred Schlagel was born March 26, 1932, in Butler County. She married the late Joseph Trufley on July 10, 1950, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

She has six children, Arnie Trufley of Boyers, Debbie Germani of New Castle, Bobby Trufley of Slippery Rock, Cyndi Swidzinski of West Sunbury, Elaine Trufley-Young of Butler and Lisa Trufley of Slippery Rock. She also has seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She is a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church and Christian Mothers.
