Tuesday — Police charged Nicholas Oesterling, 28, of Butler with shoplifting a television from the Walmart at Butler Commons. Oesterling is charged with retail theft.Tuesday — Police charged Philip Campbell, 31, of Butler with taking several items from a home in the 20 block of Grandview Boulevard Jan. 30. He is charged with theft and receiving stolen property.8:24 p.m. Monday — Two 17-year-old girls were caught allegedly shoplifting at Walmart in Butler Commons. Both girls, who police did not identify, are charged in juvenile court with retail theftMonday — A black, Apple iPod Touch was reported stolen from the boys' locker room at the Butler Intermediate High School. The device was inside a black, honeycomb-style holder.
10 p.m. Monday — An unidentified hit-and-run vehicle struck a car that was parked on Green Street in Chicora, and did not stop.10:22 a.m. March 15 — A thief reportedly stole a package of razor blades valued at $155 that the post office delivered to a home on Pine Ridge Drive in Chicora.
