State Police, Butler2:50 a.m. Sunday — Adam J. Ordy, 25, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on New Castle Road in Butler Township.Sunday — A vandal or vandals caused about $3,000 in damage to a propane system at Keystone Midstream on Prospect Road in Forward Township. The vandalism happened Saturday or Sunday.Sunday — A metal aerator valued at $250 was stolen between Feb. 12 and Sunday at a home on Sunset Drive in Connoquenessing.1:55 a.m. Saturday — A burglar armed with a hatchet made off with $2,000 worth of cigarettes after breaking into Widenhoffer’s store on Route 422 in Summit Township. The suspect used the hatchet to smash the front door glass.1:10 a.m. Saturday — Joshua L. Leach, 35, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.1 a.m. Saturday — An unidentified vehicle struck a light pole in the parking lot at Family Health Care Partners on East Mercer Street in Harrisville before driving away. Anyone with information about the hit-and-run crash is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.Saturday — At least eight mailboxes on Hannahstown Road and Nursery Lane in Jefferson Township were vandalized by someone driving an unidentified pickup truck. The vandalism between 3 and 4 a.m. caused about $1,100 in damage.Saturday — Numerous pieces of jewelry, collectible coins and silver bars were stolen in a burglary at a home on Grace Lane in Muddy Creek Township. The break-in happened between Feb. 1 and Saturday. The stolen property is valued at $5,000.Saturday — A thief stole an electric meter from the railroad crossing signal service pole on Clearfield Road in Clearfield Township. The meter, valued at $300, was stolen between noon Friday and 4:20 a.m. Saturday.During the theft, about $275 in damaged was caused to property owned by the Buffalo-Pittsburgh Railroad.7:40 p.m. Friday — Two suspected shoplifters, described as males in their late-teens, stole $500 worth of jewelry at the Boscov’s store in the Clearview Mall in Center Township.Thursday — A green, 2008 Kawasaki dirt bike was stolen from a shed at a home on Fairview Road in Fairview Township. The theft happened between March 7 and Thursday.1:31 a.m. Wednesday —Cheryl Jakupovic, 42, of Karns City was seriously injured when the car she was driving crashed into an embankment on Hooker Road in Concord Township. Jakupovic, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.Feb. 28 — A thief stole a Home City Ice chest from the Buffalo-Pittsburgh facility on Keck Road in Summit Township. The property, worth $1,000, was taken between Feb. 24 and 28.Feb. 1 — A spool of copper wire and valve head covers were stolen from Elliott’s Undercar Care on East Brewster Road in Center Township.

State Police, Mercer11:40 p.m. Thursday — Joseph J. Mathieson, 35, of Grove City was arrested after allegedly punching Kimberly Sue Randolph of Grove City in her face during a domestic dispute at a Silver Brook Drive home in Findley Township.Randolph suffered facial injuries.Police said Mathieson, who is charged with simple assault and harassment, was placed in the Mercer County Jail on $2,500 bail.
