11:11 p.m. Wednesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Carol Blystone, 46, of Erie struck an embankment on Route 8 at the Route 422 west on-ramp.

9:55 p.m. Wednesday — Joshua Ray Scott, 23, of Petrolia was arrested after allegedly assaulting a 22-year-old woman and threatening her with a knife during an altercation at a Campbell Hollow Road home in Concord Township.Scott is charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment. He was arraigned and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.Feb. 27 — An unknown thief stole two metal catch-basin grates on Golden City Road near Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township. The township's road department owns the grates, 24 by 24 inches, that were taken Feb. 26 or 27.

7:46 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Bonnie C. Knox, 61, of Karns City and a sport utility vehicle driven by Nicki L. Stahl, 21, of Kittanning collided on Route 268 in East Franklin Township. Police said Knox was cited for a stop sign violation.
