JEFFERSON TWP — Concordia Lutheran Ministries of Pittsburgh bought two personal care homes, Pristine Pines of Franklin Park and Pristine Pines of Wexford.

The facility in Franklin Park, now called Concordia of Franklin Park, is a licensed personal care home on Georgetowne Drive, near the intersection of Interstate 79 and Route 910. It is licensed for 100 beds through the state Department of Public Welfare.

The facility in Wexford, now called Concordia of Wexford, is also a licensed personal care facility. Located on Brown Road, it is licensed for 56 beds.

Keith Frndak, Concordia president and CEO, said in a news release Thursday, “We are pleased to add these new facilities to our continuum of care and look forward to serving our new family of residents.”

In recent years, Concordia has bought or introduced new facilities to the Pittsburgh region. Here is a list of all of its facilities and when they were bought or established.

• Number of employees at the two new facilities — 40 at Franklin Park, 20 at Wexford

• Number of Concordia employees in Western Pennsylvania region — about 1,780

• Number of residents currently in new facilities — 60 in Franklin Park, 30 in Wexford, although the facilities are licensed for 100 beds in Franklin Park and 56 in Wexford.

Concordia at Rebecca Residence, Allison Park, Allegheny County — bought in 2004

Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford — bought in 2005

Concordia of the South Hills, Mount Lebanon — bought in 2009

Concordia of Cranberry, Adams Ridge Boulevard, Mars — bought in July 2011

Concordia of Fox Chapel, Route 910, Indiana Township, Allegheny County — bought in July 2011

Concordia of Franklin Park, 1600 Georgetowne Drive, Sewickley — bought this month

Concordia of Wexford, 125 Brown Road — bought this month.
