2:30 p.m. Tuesday — An unknown thief walked out of the Butler County Assistance Office on Woody Drive with a computer tower.The suspect, a white man in his mid-30s or 40s, was seen carrying the Hewlett-Packard 6000 tower under his arm that was covered with a black sweat shirt, according to a police report.Police checked the area but could not find the thief, who was last seen walking toward the Kmart store in Pullman Square.The suspect is described as being about 6 feet and 200 pounds with a scruffy beard. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at 724-287-7743.

Tuesday — Police charged Philip J. Hoffman, 26, of Grove City with trespass in connection with an incident July 26 when he entered a first-floor apartment in the 100 block of Blaine Street.State Police, ButlerTuesday — Police filed drunken driving and other charges against Louis H. Santiago, 55, of Butler, stemming from a 2:38 p.m. Feb. 20 traffic stop on Route 8 at the Suburban Animal Clinic in Penn Township.Santiago is charged with driving under the influence, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, illegal use of a license plate, failing to keep right and not wearing a seat belt.<B></B>
