Thomas and Martha Geibel

Thomas and Martha Geibel of Butler celebrated 65 years of marriage. A family dinner is planned.

The former Martha Fennell married Geibel on Feb. 27, 1947, at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Cumberland, Md.

They have three children, Thomas Geibel, Ronald Geibel and Sally Walker, all of Butler.

They also have nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Geibel retired from the Borden Dairy in Boardman, Ohio, in 1987. He is a member of the Happy Hunters Sportsman’s Club.

Mrs. Geibel retired from Bobbie Brooks in 1976.

The couple belongs to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. They dance with the Alamo Square Dance Club.
