SOUTH PARK — Mars senior Allie Misenhelter finished in eighth place at the WPIAL Class AA girls diving competition at South Park High School Friday.

Misenhelter recorded a score of 307.75.

Only the top six reach the PIAA meet.

Last season, Misenhelter qualified for the state diving competition with a score of 316.35, but opted instead to take part in a gymnastics competition. She missed that event, though, because of illness.
