Kane ousts A-C Valley
Despite 19 points from Kelsey Boocks, the A-C Valley girls basketball team dropped a 52-33 decision to host Kane in the first round of the District 9 Class A playoffs Tuesday.
Kaila Jamerson had 14 points and Audrey Perry and Dawn Saquin added 12 and 10 points, respectively, for Kane.
The Wolves raced out to a 16-8 first-quarter lead and took a 30-18 advantage at the break.
A-C Valley finished the season at 10-13.
