4 a.m. Monday — Michael G. Watt, 35, of Butler allegedly assaulted 40-year-old Tammy M. Ropelewski at her apartment on Standard Avenue. Police charged Watt with simple assault and harassment.
2 p.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Robert Lee Best, 52, of Lyndora rear-ended another vehicle on Hansen Avenue at Arbor Street. Police cited Best for driving at an unsafe speed. Shuantun Lee, 58, of Butler was the other driver.
6:49 p.m. Monday — Jeffrey W. Schotting, 45, of Templeton was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck crashed on Route 28/66 in Rayburn Township.5:56 p.m. Monday — An unknown suspect tried to break into a shed at the Pine Creek Sportsmen's Club in Pine Township, Armstrong County.
Feb. 2 — Police charged Ronald William King, 55, of Grove City with drunken driving stemming from a 9:43 p.m. Dec. 24 traffic stop on Route 173 in Pine Township, Mercer County. In addition to driving under the influence, King is charged with speeding and careless driving.
