Butler Police11:34 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Charles W. Jordan, 24, of Butler and a SUV driven by Dolores M. Hageman, 60, of Butler collided on New Castle Street near Hansen Avenue.

State Police, Kittanning1:20 a.m. Monday — Hai Van Nguyen, 62, of Sarver was arrested under suspicion of DUI following a traffic stop on Route 28 in Harmar Township, Allegheny County.

Butler Twp. Police5:58 p.m. Thursday — Jacob Byers, 18, of Butler was cited for disorderly conduct and criminal mischief following a fight at Butler Intermediate High School, during which he allegedly flipped a table and threw another student’s phone.12:46 p.m. Tuesday — Tasha Saeler, 21, of Butler was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after she allegedly tried to steal $64 worth of merchandise from Friedman’s at the Greater Butler Mart. Saeler allegedly had three empty stamp bags of heroin and syringes in her purse when arrested.
