Abraham Smith of West Sunbury will celebrate his 80th birthday.

Smith was born Feb. 12, 1932, in Pittsburgh. He married Dolores Smith on June 16, 1956, at St. Michaels the Archangel Church in Butler.

He has two children, Daniel Smith of West Sunbury and Laura Lee Halstead Masdea of Butler.

He also has one living grandson and one deceased grandson.

Smith is a retired construction worker from Local Union 323.

He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.

Smith enjoys hunting, fishing, making oak swings and spending time teaching his grandson.

He is a member of the Richland Sportsmen’s Club, St. Louis Church of West Sunbury and Local Union 323.
