James Hartman

James Hartman of Butler will celebrate his 90th birthday with an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. March 3 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 365 Sawmill Run Road.

Hartman was born March 7, 1922, in Penn Township. He married Doris (Critchlow) Hartman on March 20, 1947, in Pittsburgh.

He has four children, Joyce Smay of Saxonburg, James Hartman of Draper, Utah, Janet Popa of Renfrew and Gary Hartman of Butler.

He also has 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Hartman is a former heavy equipment operator. He is a member of the Butler Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
