The Wahls in 1962

James and Alice Wahl of Evans City celebrated 50 years of marriage Jan. 8 with a family cruise to the Caribbean.

Wahl married the former Alice Montgomery on Jan. 15, 1962. They were married by a justice of the peace in Wexford.

They have two children, James Wahl Sr. of Evans City and Dianna Burd of Saxonburg.

They also have three grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Wahl is retired from Vesuvius Refractories and SAE.

Mrs. Wahl is the secretary/treasurer of Callery. She is a member of the Red Hat Groups' Red Bonnets and Bifocals and Sassy Scarlet Sisters.The Wahls are members of Old Union Church in Mars.
