11:58 a.m. Sunday — Jessica Lynn Crawford, 24, of Worthington was caught allegedly shoplifting at the Kmart store in Pullman Square. Police allege she took $462 in merchandise, including a tablet computer, baby furniture and women's clothing.10:02 a.m. Saturday — Michele L. Kerner, 42, and Debora K. Twyman, 41, both of Butler, are accused of shoplifting at the Kmart store in Pullman Square. Police allege the pair teamed up to take $385 in items, mostly woman's and infant's clothing. Kerner and Twyman are both are charged with retail theft.4:40 p.m. Jan. 16 — A car driven by Michael Milesend, 50, of Butler struck a utility pole along ice-covered Roosevelt Boulevard. Milesend was cited for driving with a suspended license.
10:50 a.m. Friday — An unidentified vehicle's side mirror hit the side mirror of a pickup truck on South Benbrook Road in Center Township, and did not stop. Wess R. Ewell, 24, of Slippery Rock was driving the pickup.5 p.m. Thursday — A pickup driven by Michael D. Lawrence, 58, of Slippery Rock crashed and rolled onto its roof along snow-covered West Liberty Road near Moore Road in Worth Township.1:40 a.m. Jan. 14 — Justin W. Cooksey, 29, of Butler was arrested after allegedly breaking into a home in the 100 block of Rieber Road in Connoquenessing Township. Cooksey is charged with burglary, trespass, harassment and disorderly conduct. He is free on $10,000 bail.
11:07 a.m. Saturday — Sarah E. Kennedy, 33, and a 4-year-old girl, both from Tempelton, were hurt when Kennedy lost control of her car on slush-covered River Road and struck a utility pole in Rayburn Township.Kennedy and the child, who police did not identify, suffered unknown injuries. The woman was wearing a seat belt and the girl was in a child safety seat. Kennedy was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
