Kelsey Reott won the 200 freestyle and teammate Katie Antal the 100 breaststroke to key the Slippery Rock girls swimming team to a fifth-place finish at the at the Northeast Invitational Saturday.

Reott won the event in a pool-record time of 1:59.78 and also placed second in the 100 back (1:00.38) while Antal won her event in a meet-record 1:08.53 and was runner-up in the 200 IM (2:21.97).

Both were members of the fifth-place 200 medley relay and seventh in the 400 free relay.

The Grove City girls team was paced by Lauren Decker who was fifth in the 50 free (25.81) and sixth in the 100 fly (1:05.04) and a member of the eighth-place 200 medley and 400 free relay teams.

Fairview won the invite with 360 points, easily outdistancing runner-up Villa Maria Academy with 211 points. Mercyhurst Prep (209), North East (162) and Slippery Rock (101) round out the top five while Grove City was eighth (61) in the 15-team event.
