11:37 p.m. Friday — Timothy A. Collins, 44, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on East Penn Street. Police said they also cited Collins for driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended license plate.State Police, Butler10:40 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Kelli J. Davis, 20, of West Sunbury crashed into a guardrail on Parker Pike in Parker Township.8:30 a.m. Sunday — Melissa Mangel, 34, of Petrolia was cited for trespass after allegedly causing a confrontation at her estranged husband's apartment on Simpson Avenue in Chicora.Sunday — An unknown vandal used a marble to break a window at a home in the 1000 block of Madison Avenue in East Butler. The vandalism happened between 5 and 9 p.m.10:56 p.m. Saturday — Gail M. McCormick, 57, of West Sunbury was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 422 at the South Shore exit in Muddy Creek Township. Police said McCormick, who was stopped for speeding, also faces other unspecified traffic violations.Tuesday — Nearly $15,000 was stolen from a Butler County business in a case of suspected identity theft.Police said someone last month obtained the banking account information for Penn United Technologies on Route 356 in Jefferson Township. The unknown thief between Dec. 22 and Tuesday made several transactions totaling $14,663.16.Dec. 20 — Someone cut a cable that secured the driveway entry gate at a home on West Eldorado Road in Parker Township. The vandalism occurred between Dec. 17 and 20. Police have no suspects.
6:52 p.m. Friday — Michael E. Stewart, 39, of Eau Claire was hurt in a two-vehicle crash in Piney Township. The collision happened when a car driven by Patricia A. Ganoe, 56, of Rimersburg slid out of control on Route 68 just east of Huckleberry Ridge, and into the path of Stewart's car.Stewart, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered an unknown injury. Police said Ganoe was cited for a lane violation.Thursday — A tree stand and game camera were stolen from a wooded area along Monterey Road in Toby Township. The hunting equipment was taken between Dec. 15 and Thursday.State Police, Mercer8:09 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Ann Metzger-Kelly, 52, of Suffield, Conn., struck a deer on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township.
