Knoch bowlers set high mark
The Knoch boys bowling team set a school record with 1,012 total pins in a 7-0 win over New Castle at Family Bowlaway Wednesday night.
Kevin Hindman had a 674 series, including a high game of 245.
Brett Miner also had a 670 series with a high game of 236.
Tyler Laughner added a 204 in his only game of the day for the Knights (2-0).
The Knoch girls fell 7-0 to New Castle despite a 624 series from Erica Johns. Her high game was a 225.
Butler 5, North Allegheny 2 (boys); Butler 7, North Allegheny 0 (girls) — Matthew Blose (634 series) and Garrett Sexton (624) led the Tornado boys while captain Brea Suchonic (620) and Kelly Bintrim (565) paced the girls.
