State Police, ButlerWednesday — Police charged Steven M. Kennedy, 28, of Butler and Marc Stonebraker, 22, of New Wilmington, Lawrence County, in connection with the theft of several pounds of scrap stainless steel from their employer, Applied Test Systems in East Butler. Kennedy also is accused of taking Titanium. The scrap metal was stolen between May and November.Kennedy is charged with theft. Stonebraker is charged with receiving stolen property.

State Police, Mercer1:30 p.m. Thursday — The body of a missing hunter from Venango County was found on state game lands near Reeds Furnace Road in Sandy Lake Township.Robert Dana Blair, 65, of Franklin, a retired Franklin police officer, died of natural causes, according to the Mercer County coroner’s Office.Blair’s family reported him missing about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday after he failed to return home from hunting. He was found dead early Thursday morning in Mercer County.State police, volunteer firefighters and officers from the Pennsylvania Game Commission joined family members in the search. A state police helicopter also was deployed.Wednesday — Police charged Robert J. Anchors, 28, of Butler with drunken driving in connection with an Oct. 30 one-vehicle crash at Route 173 and East Gilmore Road in Wolf Creek Township.Anchors was southbound on Route 173 about 6 a.m. when he lost control of his car. The vehicle struck a ditch and rolled over onto its roof. In addition to driving under the influence, he is charged with careless driving.
