John and Lenora Embroski

John and Lenora Embroski of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage Nov. 26 with a family dinner and concert by Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra in Virginia.

Embroski married the former Lenora Brown Nov. 3, 1951, at the chapel on McAndrews Air Base in Argentia, Newfoundland, Canada.

They have one son, Paul Embroski of Oakton, Va.

They also have four grandchildren.

Embroski is retired from the U.S. Air Force and the Postal Service.

Mrs. Embroski was a housewife and was previously employed by the Newfoundland and United States governments.

The Embroskis are members of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Prospect.
