William 'Lucky' Mauthe

William “Lucky” Mauthe will celebrate his 90th birthday with a card shower.

He was born Nov. 21, 1921. He was married to the late former Hazel Hepfl and spent 35 years with the late former Carrie Fair.

He has three children, Martin Mauthe, Carl Mauthe and Nina Fair.

He also has 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mauthe was in the U.S. Army during World War II. He served in the 194 Field Artillery in Italy.

He is retired from the VA Medical Center.
