Samuel 'Buss' Flinner

Samuel “Buss” Flinner of Prospect celebrated his 90th birthday with a family dinner.

He was born October 17, 1921, in Prospect on his family farm.

Flinner married the former Thelma Scheidemantle, Nov. 3, 1945, at St. Peters Reform Church in Middle Lancaster.

He has four children, Du Wagne Flinner of Prospect, Ronald Flinner of Prospect, Debra Flinner of Carnegie and Kimberly Cunningham of Imperial. Another son is deceased.

He also has five grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Flinner flew B24s for many years. He also operated Flinner farming and machinery business.

Flinner is a member of the VFW, American Legion and St. John’s Lutheran Church.
