Wednesday — Someone shot a BB gun at the front window at the Benjamin Beetle store on North Main Street. Damage to the 6-by-6-foot window was estimated at $300. The vandalism happened between Friday and Wednesday.

9:55 p.m. Friday — Paul E. Burke, 74, of Emlenton was hurt when he lost control of his sport utility vehicle after becoming ill, and crashed onto its side on Route 208 in Clinton Township, Venango County. Clintonville volunteer firefighters had to extricate Burke from the vehicle.Police did not immediately know if Burke was wearing a seat belt. He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh with unknown injuries.5:50 a.m. Friday — A Peterbilt truck driven by Robert H. Whitefleet, 56, of Polk struck a road sign and utility pole at routes 208 and 8 in Barkeyville. The crash caused the telephone lines to come down. Police said Whitefleet was cited for careless driving, driving at an unsafe speed and a stop sign violation.<B></B>
