The Stephensons in 1946

Dick and Florence Stephenson of Butler celebrated 65 years of marriage with their family.

Stephenson married the former Florence Sheppeck Oct. 19, 1946, at Saint Stanislaus in Lyndora.

They have three children, Regina Puschnigg of Ligonier, Gary Stephenson of Erie and Daniel Stephenson of Kansas City.

They also have seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Stephenson is a retired master plumber and maintenance supervisor of Duquesne Light.

He was a third class motor machine mate in the Navy with acorn 24 and aboard LCI 83.

Mrs. Stephenson was a homemaker and a retired secretary from Butler County Community College.

The Stephensons are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
