The Smiths in 1951

Glenn and Adelee Smith of Sarver celebrated 60 years of marriage with picnic Aug. 27 at the Happy Hunters Sportsman's Club.

Smith married the former Adelee Stepp Aug. 4, 1951, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport.

They have seven children, Richard Smith of Sarver, Larry Smith of Sarver, David Smith of West Virginia, Marcia Wetzel of Saxonburg, Jeanne Born of Sarver, Sheryl Johnston of Freeport and LuAnn Smith of Butler.

They also have 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Smith is retired from Oberg Industries.Mrs. Smith is retired from Risch's Supermarket.The Smiths are members of Trinity Luthern Church and the monthly luncheon for the class of 1950.
