These items have been collected from various police departments.

Wednesday — Police reported three Butler boys are accused of causing more than $5,400 in damage Sept. 11 to two buildings on South Main Street. The boys, who police did not identify, are charged with criminal mischief and conspiracy, both felonies, and a summary charge of trespass.

8:30 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Alfred Smith, 66, of Lyndora struck a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Bessemer Avenue, and did not stop after the crash. Police said Smith was cited for hit-and-run.

3:10 p.m. Wednesday — Two people were hurt when a minivan driven by Paul S. Simon, 38, of Butler and a pickup truck driven by Craig T. Bastin, 48, of Saxonburg collided on Route 356 in Jefferson Township. Both drivers, who were wearing seat belts, suffered minor injuries.1:39 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Lauren Y. Cowan, 22, of Butler struck the rear of another car on Route 356 in Summit Township. The crash pushed the other car, driven by Randy S. Field, 44, of Bellevue, Allegheny County, into the back of a car driven by Kathy Maire, 29, of Butler. Police said Cowan was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

Wednesday — An unknown thief stole a purse and wallet from an unlocked car in the student parking lot at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Northpointe regional campus in South Buffalo Township. The theft happened between 7 and 7:45 p.m.
