Margaret 'Peg' Simmer

Margaret “Peg” Simmer of Butler will celebrate her 90th birthday today.

The former Margaret Deahl was born Sept. 27, 1921. She married Paul Simmer on Oct. 26, 1945.

She has three children, Deborah Young of Butler, Jared Simmer of Pittsburgh and Rod Simmer of Ohio.

She also has eight grandchildren, two great-grandsons and a great-granddaughter on the way.

Mrs. Simmer enjoys playing cards, the casino, telling a good joke and baking pies.
