Butler Twp Police11:02 a.m. Monday — Dustin D. Watterson, 21, of Lyndora was arrested after a pair of disturbances at a home in the 400 block of Bessemer Avenue.Police initially were called to the home and found Watterson, suspected of provoking an altercation, as well as the alleged victim, Shane Planinsek, and several neighbors. Police told the suspect to leave and not return, or he would face charges.But Watterson later returned and allegedly threatened to hurt Planinsek because he called police, according to court documents.Police arrested Watterson, who was arraigned on a felony charge of retaliation against a victim. He also is charged with disorderly conduct and harassment. Watterson is free on $5,000 bail.6:08 p.m. Saturday — Dwayne Sisco, 40, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car crashed and overturned on Litman Road. Police said Sisco also was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

Saxonburg Police9:41 p.m. Aug. 26 — Robert Guthrie, 28, of Grove City was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Main Street. He was a passenger in the vehicle. The driver was not charged.Aug. 20 — Nancy Boyd reported the theft of a $2,000 tennis bracelet, a $200 watch and between $20 and $30 in cash from her vehicle in the driveway of her home in the 400 block of Aderhold Road.She also reported 10 solar yard lights worth a combined $30 were stolen from her yard.Harry Bennet of Penn Township, meanwhile, reported the theft of between $20 and $30 in cash and a collectible gold coin from his vehicle while it was parked outside Boyd's residence.Both vehicles were unlocked.

State Police, ButlerTuesday — A wooden box filled with copper fittings were stolen from the back of a truck in the 700 block of Old Route 422 West in Franklin Township. The stolen property, worth $200, was taken between 9:30 and 11 a.m.8:15 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Adam L. Fleeger, 19, of Butler struck a deer on Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township.12:55 a.m. Friday — A minivan driven by Tiffany Stempler, 24, of Lyndora struck a tree along Route 8 just south of Sunset Drive. Police said Stempler was cited for a lane violation.1:15 p.m. Sept. 6 — Edward A. Imber Jr., 60, of Springdale, Allegheny County, was arrested after police investigating a crash on Mercer Road near Route 8 in Center learned he was wanted on a warrant out of Allegheny County. Imber, according to a police report, also gave troopers a false name. Police said he is charged with false identification to law enforcement authorities.Sept. 6 — An unknown thief stole a Slippery Rock man's van that was on New Castle Road in Slippery Rock Township. The van was stolen between 7 p.m. Sept. 5 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 6.
