Ruth Wible

Ruth Wible of Evans City celebrated her 90th birthday with a family picnic.

The former Ruth Rape was born Sept. 6, 1921, in Butler. She married the late Raymond Wible on Dec. 16, 1939, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Evans City.

She has three children, Rodger Wible of Zelienople, Carol Jones of Clarksburg, Md., and Kimberly Sharrar of Evans City.

She also has two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Wible was a homemaker. She is a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and the Quilters of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Evans City.
