Sophie Mincer

Sophie Mincer of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday with a family dinner.

The former Sophie Chepelsky was born on Aug. 30 1921 in Butler.

She has four children, Mark Mincer, Carol Fennick, Holly Fleischer and Bonnie Baker, all of Butler.

She also has 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mincer is a retired waitress.

She is a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Tanglewood Center.
