The Petrillis in 1961

Ausonia and Lawrence Petrilli of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 31 with a family dinner at Piccolo Forno Pittsburgh.

Petrilli married the former Ausonia Menniti on Aug. 19, 1961, at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have five children, Mary Beth Mongelluzzo of Pittsburgh, Henry Petrilli of Pittsburgh, Theresa Gombos of Pittsburgh, Nancy Kravetz of Trafford and Nicolina Matschener of Allison Park.

They also have six grandchildren.

The Petrillis were tavern proprietors for 37 years.

They are members of the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church.
