The Gibsons in 1961

Harry and Kathleen Gibson Jr. of Cabot celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House in Pittsburgh and a family cruise this winter.

Gibson married the former Kathleen Nemoga on Aug. 5, 1961, in Winchester, Va.

They have three children, Karen Craig of Chicora, Kimberly Hughes of Butler and Kenneth Gibson of Florida.

They also have three grandchildren.

Gibson is retired from the melt shop at Armco Steel. He enjoys riding his motorcycle and traveling.

Mrs. Gibson was a housewife and flower designer. She enjoys gardening and “power shopping.”

The Gibsons attend Cabot United Methodist Church.
