Gwendolyn and Charles Wood

Charles and Gwendolyn Wood of Butler will celebrate 65 years of marriage with a family dinner in Butler.

The former Gwendolyn Turner married Wood on Aug. 14, 1946, at First Baptist Church in Evans City.

The couple has two children, Sheryl Fulkerson of Alma, Mich., and Carol Fulkerson of Harrison, Ohio.

The have seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Wood is a retired certified public accountant and chief financial officer. He belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Executives Institute.Mrs. Wood is a retired teacher.The Woods are members of The United Methodist Church.
