8:37 p.m. Friday — Jonathan P. Twiss, 34, of Butler was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence on Hansen Avenue. Additionally, Twiss was cited for speeding, driving without insurance and without valid inspection, and driving an unregistered vehicle.
5:38 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Jesse J. Muto, 21, of Harmony crashed into a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Muto was cited for a lane violation.6:15 p.m. Friday — Devin A. Christie, 23, of Chicora was hurt when he crashed his motorcycle while attempting a standing wheelie on Route 38 just south of Hooker Road. Christie, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.5 p.m. Thursday — An unknown man inappropriately touched and exposed himself to a woman at Slippery Rock Park in Slippery Rock. The 27-year-old woman was with her two young children at the park.The woman told police he rode away on a bicycle headed east on Boller Drive.The suspect is described as black, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing dark baggy sweat pants and a light colored T-shirt. Anyone with information about the incident or suspect is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.Wednesday — A Schwinn men's bicycle was found behind the Petrolia Post Office. The owner can claim the bike by calling police at 724-284-8100.
7:32 p.m. Friday — Two Worthington men were arrested on charges of possessing heroin, following a traffic stop on Route 28 just north of exit 12 in Harmar Township, Allegheny County. Accused of misdemeanor drug possession are Cody Allen Montgomery, 22, and Charles Eric Hanford, 25.
Wednesday — Police filed more charges against a suspected serial burglar already accused of breaking into a dozen Grove City businesses last year.Robert J. Rall II, 27, of Grove City in the latest case is charged with burglarizing Lakeview Fertilizer on Sandy Lake-Greenville Road in Lake Township. Police suspect he broke into the business Sep. 19 or 20, 2010.Rall, who has been in the Mercer County Prison since his arrest in April, faces preliminary hearings later this week for that break-in as well as three others in Lake Township in October and another one in Sandy Lake in November, court records showed.Meanwhile, he is awaiting trial in Mercer County Court on 16 counts of burglary, which included the 12 Grove City cases. In the Grove City crimes, police said, Rall is accused of stealing money, merchandise and software equipment from the businesses between Feb. 24 and Nov. 1, 2010.
