Wednesday — A 13-year-old Butler boy is accused of attacking and robbing a man of his Apple iPod in the Monroe Street area. Police did not identify either the boy or the man.The man said the boy beat him up just for the fun of it. During the alleged assault, the man's iPod fell out of his pants. The boy is accused of taking it. The man suffered apparent minor injuries.Police charged the boy in Butler County juvenile court with robbery and theft.9:23 p.m. Monday — Colleen R. Cunningham, 30, of Butler is accused of forcing her way into a neighbor's home in the 300 block of East Locust Street and attacking a woman there.Police said once inside, Cunningham punched and scratched 40-year-old Kathyrn A. Nagle.Cunningham admitted to the attack because she was upset that Nagle did not take tend to her dogs while she was gone, police said. Cunningham is charged with simple assault and trespass.8:10 p.m. Monday — Larry Noble Ingram, 21, of Butler was cited for disorderly conduct after he allegedly shot an airsoft pistol at a street sign on South Chestnut Street.11:30 a.m. Monday —Christopher R. Curry, 36, of Butler is suspected of entering an ex-girfriend's home on Madison Avenue while she was gone. Jerri Miller told police when she returned she found Curry inside.He fled through a back door. Miller believed he got into her home through an upstairs window. Curry is wanted on a warrant on a charge of simple assault.Monday — Money and jewelry were taken in a burglary at a home in the 400 block of West New Castle Street. The break-in happened between 6:28 and 7:04 p.m.

2 a.m. Wednesday — A 14-year-old girl was caught running between houses in the Meridian area. Police spotted the girl with several others. She was cited for disorderly conduct.8:40 p.m. Tuesday — An unknown vehicle struck a car parked near Friedman's Market in the Greater Butler Mart parking lot. The hit-and-run accident happened between 8:25 and 8:40 p.m. Anyone who saw the accident is asked to call police at 724-285-9600.

July 21 — An unspecified amount of painkillers were stolen between July 17 and 21 from the Trinity Living Center on Hillcrest Avenue.State Police, Butler3:15 a.m. Wednesday — Unspecified items were reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a home in the 200 block of Bullcreek Road in Jefferson Township.Tuesday — A burglar stole two flat-screen televisions, a Nintendo Wii video game system, Microsoft Xbox game system and a Samsung DVD player from the house at 368 Eagle Mill Road in Connoquenessing Township. The break-in happened between Friday and Tuesday.2:43 a.m. Saturday — Jessica Stevens, 33, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 356 and Saxonburg Road in Butler Township.

Tuesday — A burglar raided the refrigerator at a home on Carwick Road in Toby Township. Stole were 10 pork chop, 10 packages of sausage and two bottles of pop. The break-in happened between 5:30 and 10:50 p.m.

4:45 p.m. July 18 — A 17-year-old boy, who police did not identify, lost control of his pickup truck and struck a bridge rail on Frew Mill Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.The boy drove away and abandoned the truck in a parking lot of a business on Route 19. He was cited for driving an unsafe speed.
