Westinghouse officer will retire on Aug. 1

CRANBERRY TWP — Westinghouse Electric announced Tuesday the retirement of Ramsey Coates as the company’s senior vice president and general counsel effective Aug. 1.

Coates joined Westinghouse in 1976. He served in positions of increasing responsibility, both domestically and internationally, before being appointed 14 years ago to the position of senior vice president and general counsel.

Upon Coates’ retirement, Mike Sweeney will be appointed senior vice president and general counsel, legal and contracts.
