David and Irene Beight

David and Irene Beight of Zelienople celebrated 28 years of marriage by renewing their wedding vows June 11 at Slippery Rock Campground in Slippery Rock.

The couple also enjoyed a private dinner.

The ceremony was officiated by Beight’s brother, Pastor Michael Beight, who married them in 1983.

Beight married the former Irene Foley on June 11, 1983, at First Baptist Church in Evans City.

Beight is a sales representative for Lance Foods.

Mrs. Beight is a medical records coordinator at the Western Pennsylvania Surgery Center in Wexford.

They enjoy camping at Slippery Rock Campground, bike riding, taking long walks and having fun with their two Jack Russell Terriers, Annie and Pete.

The Beights belong to Grace Community Church in Cranberry Township.
