Timothy A. Gober
Timothy A. Gober, 24, of Zelienople passed away peacefully Saturday in the comfort of his home with his faithful dog, Duke, by his side.
Born Oct. 16, 1986, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Tracy “Bama” Gober and Robin M. (Yost) Wolford and her husband, Bill, all of Zelienople.
Timothy was an avid sports fan who loved the Steelers and the Alabama Crimson Tide. He enjoyed cooking, the outdoors, fishing and hiking in McConnells Mill State Park.
A music enthusiast, his favorite group was the Grateful Dead.
Timothy loved children and always was happy to give them a helping hand. He was a “hugger” who loved his family and held a special bond with his brother, Dan.
In addition to his parents and stepfather, he is survived by his brother, Daniel Gober of Allison Park; his maternal grandparents, Don and Diane Yost of Reserve Township; his paternal grandfather, Tommy Gober and his wife, Barb, of Alabama; his paternal grandmother, Joan Lively and her husband, Mike, of Alabama; uncles and aunts, Tim and Karen Gober and Terry and Norma Gober, all of Alabama, Don and Debra Yost of Zelienople and David and Kelly Yost of North Carolina. He also is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
<B>GOBER </B>— Friends of Timothy A. Gober, who died Saturday, May 21, 2011, will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 215 N. Main St., Zelienople, with the Rev. William W. Brewer officiating. Friends, please meet at the church.
