Dorothy M. (Young) Irvin, 89, of Zelienople died Tuesday while under the care of the Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople.

Born June 24, 1921, in Lancaster Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Ada Mae (Moyer) Eiler.

Dorothy was a member of the Grace Church of Harmony.

She is survived by three nieces, Darla LeRoy of Ellwood City, Betty Basse of Memphis, Tenn., and Donna Grimes of Hookstown; one nephew, David Eiler of New Brighton; one stepson, Eugene C. Irvin Jr.; and one step-granddaughter.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Young and the late Eugene C. Irvin. In addition, she was preceded in death by her sister, Laura B. Rough; and her brother, Floyd Eiler.
