Hillwig 60th anniversary
Dan and Loretta Hillwig of Chicora will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family dinner at their home.
Hillwig married the former Loretta Rodgers on June 9, 1951, at St. Patricks Church in Sugar Creek.
They have five children, Patricia Wiles of Chicora, Roger Hillwig of Karns City, Paul Hillwig of Chicora, Carol Callihan of Butler and Valerie Andreassi of Butler.
They also have 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Hillwig is a retired electrician and musician.
He enjoys golfing, bowling and gardening. He is involved at the YMCA, volunteers for Meals on Wheels and belongs to the Chicora Senior Center. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and playing the guitar.Mrs. Hillwig is a homemaker. She enjoys baking, sewing and canning. She is involved at the YMCA, volunteers for Meals on Wheels and belongs to the Chicora Senior Center. She is a former CCD teacher. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.The Hillwigs belong to Mater Dolorosa Church.
