12:56 p.m. Friday — An SUV driven by Evelyn M. Smith, 18, of New Brighton and a car driven by George Yurkovich, 56, of Lyndora collided on Woody Drive near Hollywood Drive. Yurkovich complained of back pain following the collision but refused medical attention.11:03 a.m. Thursday — Michael F. Rinker, 62, of Butler was charged with DUI and DUI highest rate of alcohol after police responded to a disabled vehicle along the Wayne Street Viaduct.Thursday — Scott Matson, 33, of Butler was charged with stalking, criminal mischief and public intoxication after he allegedly caused $1,201 in damage to a car parked along Third Avenue. Matson, who has been arrested for harassing the victim on four other occasions, was discovered hiding behind a wall at nearby Pullman Park.9 p.m. Wednesday — James A. Malumphy, 47, of Grove City was charged with accidents involving damage to unattended property after his vehicle allegedly crashed into a car belonging to Jean Stanton in the 400 block of North McKean Street, then fled the scene.7:04 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Ashley F. Loughman, 23, of Butler crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Morton and Fairview avenues. Loughman and passenger Michael Jacobson, 23, of Butler, as well as a 7-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl in the car, were not injured.

12:11 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Jack Tirko, 56, of Freeport struck a deer on Route 8 near the Picklegate Bridge.Friday — Rachelle Anne Baker, 19, of Butler was cited in connection with a hit-and-run accident that injured a pedestrian last week.Police believe Baker was driving on North Main Street near Beech Road about 10:35 p.m. when her car's passenger side mirror struck John Briney Jr., no age given, of Butler. The driver did not stop.Briney was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for undisclosed injuries.Baker, who told police she was unaware she had hit anyone with her car's mirror, later read that authorities were investigating the hit-and-run accident and looking for the driver. On her own, Baker went to police and reported what happened.She is charged with hit-and-run, careless driving, driving at an unsafe speed, failing to give information and render aid after an accident and failing to immediately notify police of an accident.1:47 p.m. Tuesday — Lorraine Bronder, 82, of Butler was arrested for retail theft after she allegedly placed items from Friedman's in a bag and did not pay for them before leaving the supermarket.

10 p.m. Wednesday — Someone broke into a residence along Buttercup Lane in Brady Hill Estates, Brady Township, between 7 and 10 p.m. Wednesday, disturbing items belonging to Robert V. Hairhoger of Slippery Rock before fleeing the scene. Any one with information should call police at 724-24-8100.

9 p.m. May 12 — Scott S. Dulaney, no age given, of Grove City was arrested under suspicion of DUI following a vehicle crash along George Junior Road in Pine Township.

9:53 p.m. Thursday — Timothy E. Montgomery, 45, of Worthington was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Wible Road in East Franklin Township.Thursday — A DVD player was stolen from a vehicle at a home on Wyant Road in North Buffalo Township. The theft happened between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 7 p.m. Thursday.
