Sara Claypoole

Sara Claypoole of Worthington will celebrate her 90th birthday on Saturday.

The former Sara Mowry was born May 21, 1921, in Allegheny County and spent her childhood in Butler County.

Upon her marriage in 1940 to the late Oren J. Claypoole, she has resided at 194 Lyn-Haven Lane, Worthington.

One of her favorite pastimes is working in her many flower gardens.

She is a member of Franklin Union Baptist Church and has always enjoyed working on various church activities. She has also served as church historian for many years.
