These items have been collected from various police departments.

9:40 p.m. Friday — Daniel P. Hughes, 31, of Butler was charged with DUI, DUI highest rate of alcohol (2nd offense) and accidents involving damage to unattended property after the vehicle he was allegedly driving struck a parked utility trailer, belonging to James Kemple of Butler, along Spruce Street. Hughes allegedly fled the scene before parking in a driveway along nearby Second Street.

4:56 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Jennifer Dillinger, 18, of Butler and a vehicle driven by Rick Haswell, 30, of Prospect collided at the intersection of Whitestown and Fairground Hill roads. No one was injured.

9 p.m. Friday — Betty Jo McGinnis, 34, of Butler was arrested under suspicion of DUI, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at the intersection of Third Avenue and West Cunningham Street.7:15 p.m. Wednesday — Toby S. Plaisted, no age given, of Summit Township was charged with simple assault and terroristic threats following a domestic dispute at 115 Paradise Lane in the township.12:51 a.m. Tuesday — Vance Reinhart, 42, of Butler was charged with DUI following a traffic stop at the intersection of New Castle Road and Hansen Avenue in Butler.May 1 — Someone stole a 42cc Husqvarna chain saw with a 16-inch blade, as well as a one-gallon gas can, belonging to Terrie Taylor of Evans City from her garage along Marburger Road in Forward Township between March 20 and May 1.

8:25 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Genevieve Scopellite, 84, of Ellwood City struck a deer on Bridge Street near Smiley Stop Road in Wayne Township, Lawrence County. Scopellite was not injured.2:46 p.m. Wednesday — Someone broke a window to enter the residence of Kathleen and Eugene Magerl along West Lancaster Road in Perry Township, Lawrence County, stealing numerous DVDs, a blu-ray disc player, a high-definition TV receiver and prescription medication between 1 and 2:46 p.m. The medication was recovered by Ellwood City police during a traffic stop the same day; an investigation is ongoing.
