Bob and Mary Ann Shay

Bob and Mary Ann Shay of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Shay married the former Mary Ann Fabik on April 29, 1961, at the North Main Street Church of God.

They have three children, Kristina Reiser of Renfrew, Robert Shay of Mechanicsburg and Steven Shay of Butler.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Shay is retired from AK Steel. He is a member of the Masonic Lodge 694, New Castle Consistory, Sampson AFB Vets and the American LegionHe is a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. His hobbies include refinishing furniture and traveling.Mrs. Shay is a homemaker. She is a member of the Women of the Church of God. Her hobbies include traveling and reading.
