1:38 a.m. today — Anthony Dorenkamp, 19, of Oakland Township was hurt when the motorcycle he was driving slid on the wet road and crashed into a barrier at Center and East Boyd avenues. Police said Dorenkamp, who was wearing a helmet and suffered minor injuries, was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.Thursday — Police charged Jessica M. Miller, 29, of Butler with using another woman's lost Access card on April 9 to buy $126.70 in merchandise at the Wal-Mart in Butler Township. Miller is charged with theft of lost or mislaid property and receiving stolen property.Thursday — Police discovered vandals had recently spray painted graffiti on the fence outside Pullman Park and on a nearby sign.

Wednesday — Jeffrey Heil, 40, of McKnight, Allegheny County, was arrested on charges that he tried to fill a fake prescription at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy on West Main Street on April 1. Heil, who was picked up on a warrant by Ross Township police, is charged with fraudulent acquisition of a controlled substance and forgery. He is free on $5,000 bail.

9:41 a.m. Thursday — Two truckers were hurt when tractor-trailers they were driving collided on Route 422 near the Interstate 79 off-ramp in Muddy Creek Township. Jerry D. Barto, 48, of Anita, Jefferson County, and Richard Garringer, 50, of Burghill, Ohio, were taken to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh with unknown injuries. Police said Barto was cited for making an illegal U-turn and a lane violation.4:25 p.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by David L. Christy, 21, of Sarver struck a car while trying to pass another vehicle on Route 8 about a mile south of Keister Road in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Christy drove away after the collision. He was cited for careless driving and failing to stop after an accident. Gretchen R. Kramer, 21, of Butler was driving the car.
