3:36 p.m. Wednesday — Carol J. Manuel, 54, of Butler was hurt when the car she was driving struck a deer on Route 38 in Oakland Township. Manuel was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.April 14 — Police charged Dana Lyn Powers, 29, of Slippery Rock with driving under the influence stemming from a 2 a.m. April 6 traffic stop at Route 138 and Claytonia Road in Clay Township.

April 14 — Thomas McCune Jr., 43 of Clinton Township was arrested on charges of access device fraud, forgery and theft from a motor vehicle after allegedly stealing $260 in cash, four credit cards and two store gift cards on Dec. 26 from a van owned by Leslie Voltz that was parked in the 300 block of Main Street.More than $1,600 was charged using the stolen cards at the Wal-Mart and Kmart in Butler Township and the Wal-Mart in Richland Township, Allegheny County.

Tuesday — Unspecified items were stolen from two vehicles at a McConnell Road home in Wolf Creek Township. The thefts happened between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.
