Tornado tennis improves to 4-1

A.J. May earned a 6-0, 7-6 victory in his No. 3 singles match to clinch a win for the Butler boys tennis team, 3-2, over North Hills Friday afternoon.

The Golden Tornado (4-1) swept the singles matches. Will Nesbitt earned a 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 1 singles and Zac McCafferty earned a 6-0, 6-1 triumph.

Girls LacrosseVincentian Academy 6, Knoch 5 — Mandi Boldy had two goals and an assist and Mindy Norris added two goals for the Knights.Sierra Kaufman also scored while Laura Crist added an assist.

Boys VolleyballBen Hart had 12 kills and Chad Albert added nine kills as Seneca Valley swept Fox Chapel 25-15, 25-23, 25-21.Brad Parish had six blocks and Cam Knight chipped in 37 assists for the Raiders.
